The Hall-Otamendi Duo performed at the International Trumpet Guild Conference in 2025 earning the following post-concert review:

“Ashley Hall-Tighe and her collaborator, pianist Ana María Otamendi, then took the stage, beginning with Giovanni Sammartini’s Concerto in F Major for Recorder. This three-movement work showcased Hall-Tighe’s stunning sound and ability to play extensive phrases with the utmost grace. Their second selection, Isaac Albeniz’s Malegueña and “El Puerto” from Iberia Book 1, explored a more playful style. Ashley followed with a contrasting selection, Sergei Rachmaninov’s Moment Music, Op. 16 No. 5, which allowed the audience to indulge in her mesmerizing and sonorous flugelhorn sound. After a brief intermission in which the duo stayed on stage and answered questions from the audience, they then filled the second half of the recital with transcriptions of Edvard Grieg’s Agitato, EG 106; Barcarola, Op.24 No. 10 by Jean Sibelius; and Clara Schumann’s Piano Sonata in G Minor. This outstanding recital showcased Ashley Hall-Tighe’s artistic mastery of the trumpet.”
